CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM)

Issue/Introduction

When the users login to CA PAM client, they are challenged with a pop-up message.

KeyAccess popup with the following message

The network KeyServer, which is required by KeyServer controlled programs, cannot grant you permission to run this program. If you think you have received this message in error, please contact your KeyServer Administrator.

Environment

All supported versions of CA PAM

Cause

This is caused by the missing permissions from another third party application.

Resolution

This pop-up message is not generated by CA PAM. This is most likely caused by third party application that might be monitoring the CA PAM client application and the user invoking the CA PAM client is missing the permissions to execute the CA PAM client application as a trusted application.

This needs to be fixed outside of CA PAM.
