Issue/Introduction

When trying to assign a License to the vSAN cluster( 4 hosts- VxRail V670F server) error shows "The license capacity is insufficient."

Environment

vCenter 7.0

vSAN  7.0

VxRail V670F - 4 hosts in vSAN cluster.- 56 CPU.

Cause

License repository has valid Licenses but with 1 CPU capacity,

But the Environment vSAN cluster- 4 Hosts has 56 CPU.

Cannot assign the License as the capacity of the License is only 1 CPU

 

Resolution

Get the Valid License or higher capacity from VxRail -Dell team and then assign it to the cluster.  Each host is of 56 CPU.
