Issue/Introduction

We noticed an issue when attempting to apply conditional formatting on the Project Grid page:

The text color in the "Project Name" field does not change according to the set condition.

Environment

Clarity 16.2.2

Resolution

The conditional formatting will not work for links (like Project name).

Some key points to remember are:

Conditional formatting is not applied when you access Clarity from mobile devices.

You can create a maximum of 20 rules per view.

If you copy a view, its conditional formatting will be copied.

You can set the priority of the rules.

If both display mappings and conditional formatting are applied to an attribute, Clarity will display both colors.

If you create a rule for an attribute that is secured by using field-level security, the rule will be inactive for users who don’t have access to the field.

The “is Not Between” condition is not supported.

The starred attribute is not available for format conditions.

You can only change color for boolean attributes.

You cannot change the color for grid cells that include links.

When you copy a row or create a record by using a template, conditional formatting is not immediately applied. You need to refresh the screen to apply the changes.
