"This API is not supported in the context of a Project., error code 524223" error when migrating a Provider Gateway to IP Spaces at the Static IP Pools

Issue/Introduction

• When trying to migrate a provider gateway to IP Spaces at the Static IP Pools you get an error similar the error below:
  Bad Request: Error occurred in the backing network provider: This API is not supported in the context of a Project., error code 524223
• The issue is not observed for Orgs that do not have NSX Tenancy active

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.x

Cause

While migrating a provider gateway to use IP Spaces, we check for all the service IPs for all the connected edge gateways. If an edge gateway is backed by a VDC which is using projects (networking tenancy), the L2VPN/IPSEC VPNs API's are not supported on NSX T versions.

Resolution

This is a know issue affecting VMware Cloud Director 10.5.x

Currently, there is no resolution.
