Outbound SNMP Trap Issue on Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

SNMP Trap is configured.  Test Validation is successful.  Outbound SNMP issue. Some traps are being sent and received. Other failed and not received at endpoint.

Error logged in Analytic Log file:

Cause

This issue occurs when using the SNMP outbound plugin and with an alert definition that includes a negative symptom which is null and it can be because the monitored object does not have the metric which is used in Symptom Definition.

The fix has been delivered on the following releases:

• Aria Operations 8.16 HF
• Aria Operations 8.17 HF
• Aria Operations 8.18
