Issue/Introduction

• Unable to export NSX manager support bundle
• Error: A FQDN needs to be configured and resolvable for this Manager node in order to collect a support bundle
• Issue is seen in environment where name resolution is not configured
  

Cause

Local Manager needs to have a FQDN resolvable via DNS if one of the following conditions is true:

1. LM is dual stack IPv4/IPv6, OR
2. LM is presenting a CA-signed cert on the REST API

Resolution

To resolve the issue configure forward and reverse DNS lookup for the nodes and make sure name resolution is working correctly.
