Issue/Introduction

  • NSX version less than 3.2.0
  • LAG MEMBER DOWN alarm noticed in NSX Manager UI
  • Lag member vmnic is showing UP status in vCenter
  • No production impact noticed

Environment

NSX version less than 3.2.0

Cause

Changes happen in transport nodes, NSX SHA side is not updating the event status correctly, causing stale alarm entry.

Resolution

Issue has been fixed in NSX-T 3.2.0 and later releases.

 

Workaround:

Restart netopad service.

/etc/init.d/netopad restart
