Issue/Introduction

You want to know if you can assign a password to the ROOT CA.
There is no prompt for a password.

Resolution

You cannot assign a password to the ROOT CA.

This is by design - the password exists and is unknown since it is generated randomly and used only by the system

Admin can view the ROOT CA to check the version used but is not possible to make any change, since it is password protected.
