"Unable to connect NSX manager" in vCenter NSX plugin

Issue/Introduction

• In vCenter UI - NSX, unable to see NSX Manager page.
• The page eventually timeout with following error message "Unable to connect NSX manager" .
• However, connect to NSX Manager directly via NSX Manager's IP address is successful.

Environment

NSX Embedded deployment using VMware vCenter Plugin
VMware NSX

Cause

NSX Manager failed to connect compute manager.

Resolution

• Login to NSX Manager UI by NSX Manager IP addresses
• Navigate to "System - Fabric - Compute manager"
• Check corresponding compute manager "Connection Status"
• If "Connection Status" down, click "Down" to expand the reason and troubleshoot accordingly.
