Veritas Back-up solutions fails to backup after the vSAN and the vCenter upgrades

Issue/Introduction

After the vCenter and the vSAN upgrades to 8.0.2 and 8 the backup solutions stopped Backing up.

Environment

vCenter 8.0.2

vSAN 8

Veritas versions prior to 10.4

Cause

Veritas versions prior to 10.4 were incompatible with the vCenter 8.0.2 and vSAN 8.

Resolution

Upgraded the Veritas version from 10.3 to 10.4+ Issue Resolved.

Backup solution compatibility is fine and Stable.
