Issue/Introduction

Upgrades fail from the console or locally, sensor install logs report error

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 3.8.x - 4.0.0.1292
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

ctinet unload issue (Root cause of failure was identified as MS bug) 

Resolution

Use 4.0.1.x sensor

Additional Information

Workarounds:

• Uninstall old sensor then reinstall.
• Catch sensor after reboot or idle to preform upgrade.
