DX NetOps Spectrum: REST calls are returing our SSO login page

Issue/Introduction

When a REST call is made to Spectrum OneClick, we are receiving the payload for our SSO IDP page and not the results we expect.

Cause

This is because of how SAML works once setup.

Resolution

In order to resolve this issue, users need to be setup to allow basic authentication and configured to be allowed to do so.

Once the users are added to the non-saml-config.xml file, a Tomcat restart is required.  It is suggested that the $SPECROOT/tomcat/work folder is delete (Tomcat Cache) prior to starting Tomcat service backup.
