Configure the Robot Watcher Service
On the active node, launch Failover Cluster Manager.
Expand the tree in the left frame and select Services and Applications.
Under Actions in the right frame, click Configure a Service or Application and select Generic Service.
In the Client Access Point dialog, specify the name that clients use to access the service. If you are asked to provide an IP address, use the available virtual IP address that your Network Administrator provides. In DHCP environments, networking is configured automatically, and you do not need to supply an IP address.
In the Select Storage dialog, enter the shared drive where the DX UIM Server is installed; for example, S:\. The service is created and brought online with the virtual IP address. You will need this address when you configure the robot.
>> I cannot find the Services and Applications in the failover cluster manager section. I am using windows server 2019
UIM: 20.x/23.x
The current tech docs for Configuring the Robot Watcher Service section is not correct for after cluster version 2008 R2
https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/unified-infrastructure-management/23-4/installing/install-uim-server/installing-in-an-active-passive-microsoft-cluster.html#concept.dita_d6663fb3abff79efe07d2e7271605b9dd267fcfe_InstallUIMServerontheCluster
We are in the process of correcting the tech docs for Configure the Robot Watcher Service.
Users can access the Generic Service for cluster version after 2008 R2 from the following path: Failover Cluster Manager--><ClusterName>-->Configure Role-->Generic Service
