Resource validations for XTRAN and XPCT now use separate resource classses.
EXEC CICS QUERY SECURITY RESTYPE(TRANSACTION) are failing with unexpected violations
Converting from TRANSACTION validations to XTRAN and XPCT validations, caused unpredictable results for the user validations.
It was found that the
EXEC CICS QUERY SECURITY RESTYPE(TRANSACTION) RESID(tranid)
was no longer using the correct resource rules.
When XTRAN resources are being requested,
the EXEC CICS QUERY SECURITY command MUST specify
RESTYPE(TRANSATTACH).
The previous value of RESTYPE(TRANSACTION) is now used for the XPCT
validations.
The user program that issues the QUERY request must be changed to
to specify RESTYPE(TRANSATTACH)
