Widget performance is slow

Issue/Introduction

When widgets are configured the performance is slow, which is caused by too many API calls. 

Steps to Reproduce: 

1. Configure Widgets on the page using TSV, Per-Period type of fields 
2. Place the widgets on the page and observe the performance. 

Expected Results: Performance should be reasonably expected. 

Actual Results: Performance is slow when widgets are configured. 

Workaround: None.

Release 16.1.2, 16.2.0, 16.2.1, 16.2.2 

Cause

DE81005  

Resolution

Planned to be resolved in Release 16.2.3 and targeted for Patch #1 on 16.2.2 (16.2.2.1). 

The fix for this issue also covers the use case described for DE80756, reference KB 367943: API-1015 error on grids when filtering by date ranges.
