Issue/Introduction

Is it possible for Sysview for DB2 to list All the SQL queries passed to DB2 by Java applications? The need is to have All the sql queries coming from java in order to analyze the columns impacted by the CHAR types. Ideally a Batch Job

Resolution

Sysview for DB2 does not have any option to provide details on the SQL produced by every Java Thread executing on DB2 on the Mainframe. The SQL IFCIDs are (53,58,59,60,61,63) and could be collected to SMF via a Trace, but that is a gargantuan amounts of data going to SMF so the cost would be high.
