Issue/Introduction

Errors indicating license check failures may appear in /var/log/messages.  They indicated that the subscription capture rate has been exceeded.  Your system(s) are capturing more traffic on a 10 day average than the subscription license purchased.

Cause

Lines like the following may appear in your /var/log/messages file:

In this case, 7 10TB/day licenses were purchased but the average capture rate is 11.5TB per day.
