Issue/Introduction

Implementing Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS maintenance and the Post Install Compare ssid0000 job is failing in the COMPRT step with:

    AUDIT/ERROR REPORT FOR VERSION RCMK00

          INPUT FILE                        NUMBER OF STATEMENTS

Cause

Executing Post Install Compare ssid0000 job with incorrect maintenance level within runtime environment.

Resolution

There appears to be a mismatch between the generation of the Post Install Compare ssid0000 JCL and the maintenance level implemented in hlq.CDBALOAD.
Verify the expected maintenance was successfully propagated to the hlq.CDBALOAD runtime dataset.

The presence of the RM00258I message with 20.0 which does not include a Level Set value is an indication that the CDBALOAD is executing at a regressed maintenance level.
With current maintenance the RM00258I message should contain a Level Set string as in the following example:

RM00258I Automap process has been invoked: 20.0.nn
