Wrong SNMP credentials in snmpcollector probe

Issue/Introduction

When using the cm_data_import probe to discover new devices/profiles for the SNMP collector probe, (by processing XML file with auth profiles described), the SNMPcollector profiles added by this procedure are in failure state. Moreover, when testing the "validate credentials" option, the "invalid credential" message is displayed.

Using the Web Browser DevTools, it is possible to reveal the hidden credentials stored in the configured fields on the web page, and it shows a string with some unprintable characters and longer than the expected password.

Cause

Code defect 

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in snmpcollector version 4.14. 
Also, keep in mind that the ppm probe should be updated to the most recent version as well.
