monitoring of Kubernetes Gateway with APM

Issue/Introduction

Trying to monitor Kubernetes Gateway 11.0 install which is using a MySQL pod as it's db.  The environment is deployed within AKS on Azure. We want to use APM to monitor this environment but not seeing any documentation on how to achieve this.
