Issue/Introduction

• When trying to use the Upgrade Planner in Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager you can face issues in generating plans involving vRealize Operations. Resulting in errors similar to:

"Failed to generate upgrade plan. Could not get interoperability data from VMware Interoperability Matrix to generate Upgrade Planner Report. Check if there is internet connectivity from vRSLCM."

 

• Upgrade Planner is accessible under Environments > Actions > Upgrade Planner

Environment

• VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.x (formerly VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.x)

Cause

• Issue with Aria Operations (formerly vRealize Operations) Product ID as part of the Interoperability Matrix due to change in branding.

Resolution

• Fix provided as part of VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle version 8.18
