Issue/Introduction

AWS Cloud virtual security appliance use AWS metadata service to communicate with AWS internally and there are two version IMDS 1 and IMDS2. 

What is the IMDS version supported for CAS instances deployed on AWS

Environment

Content Analysis 4.1.2.1 and higher deployed on AWS

Resolution

In Content Analysis version prior to 4.1.2.1 only IMDSv1 is supported, from this version also Instance Metadata Service Version 2 (IMDSv2) is supported
