Dashboard strange behavior after recent DX SAAS upgrade

Issue/Introduction

We are seeing some strange behavior on the DX SAAS tenant in DX-Dashboards. The user opens DX-Dashboard and selects the desired dashboard (which does work properly).  The dashboard renders and the user selects the desired universe.  The Dashboard does not populate with Data.

When viewed in Metric View the universe has the desired servers and they are populated with data for the time range. This data is not being populated in DX Dashboards. 

It seems like issue may be related to variables that are defined in the Dashboard. The issue started after recent upgrade. We tested variable by changing regex value and we see no values being populated for the query. We have observed same/similar issue in multiple tenants.

Resolution

After make adjustments to variable configuration, the issue has been resolved. The variable configuration has been corrected. It is best to always use refresh on time range change and to turn off aggregation when using AIOps_Metrics.

As an alternative, the DEV team also suggests using AIOps_Inventory for variables to improve loading time.
