After Installing CA Symdump Batch R 9.1 the IVP program $Z91DEMO fails with S806 for load module IN25SAPI.

Issue/Introduction

Problem:  

 

After Installing CA Symdump Batch R 9.1 the installation verification program $Z91DEMO fails with message S806 load module IN25SAPI not found.

 

SV003I REQUESTED MODULE IN25SAPI NOT FOUND CSV028I ABEND806-04

CAUSE:

 

As part of the CA Symdump Batch R 9.1  base install the HLQ.CAVHLOAD library was not added to the LINKLIST. The IN25SAPI load module resides in the HLQ.CAVHLOAD library.

 

Resolution:  

 

Add the HLQ.CAVHLOAD load library to the LINKLIST. As a workaround you can STEPLIB to the HLQ.CAVHLOAD until the LINKLIST is updated.

 

Additional Information:

 

The CA SymDump Batch R 9.1 Installation will be updated to instruct the installer to add the HLQ.CAVHLOAD to the LINKLIST.
