TUNDB2xx member setup for multiple DB2 Subsystems

Issue/Introduction

Setting up Mainframe Application Tuner (MAT) in a particular LPAR with several Db2 Subsystems running at the same Db2 Version but in a different Function Level. The TUNDB2xx member contain an entry for each Db2 Version of the Db2 Subsystem and there is only one DB2Vx10 parameter for each Db2 Version, so only one HLQ.SDSNLOAD library is accepted for each Db2 Version,  
        
How the TUNDB2xx member has to be updated to support this setup?.

Resolution

For the TUNDB2xx member, as long as all the Db2 Subsystems are on the same Version, it will be fine to specify the HLQ.SDSNLOAD library of the stable Function Level (A Function Level supported by all of the Db2 Subsystems).

In fact it will not really matter as most of the changes will not be in the module that would be used by MAT. MAT will use the DB2 connect modules (CAF, RRSAF, CICS/IMS, TSO using DSNALI, DSNRLI, DSNULI), these modules are not usually changed by a different Function Level.
