Is cleanup required for PSP Refresh Failure?

Issue/Introduction

Issue: 

The PSP refresh job (ESDyymmL) fails with PSPEXEC LOADPSP - ABEND=S000 U0998 REASON=00 and messages similar to the following:

*ACT7255** UNAPPLIED** UNAVAIL* 
*BAS7645** UNAPPLIED** UNAVAIL* 
*BAS7653** UNAPPLIED** UNAVAIL* 
*BAS7661** UNAPPLIED** UNAVAIL* 
*BAS7680** UNAPPLIED** UNAVAIL* 
*BAS7675** UNAPPLIED** UNAVAIL* 
*BAS7660** UNAPPLIED** UNAVAIL* 
*MQS6620** UNAPPLIED** UNAVAIL* 
*VCA6654** UNAPPLIED** UNAVAIL* 

Environment:  

All supported releases of CA MICS.

Cause: 

There are some PTFs that have been loaded into the PSP libraries, but not applied.  If these PTFs are older than two releases prior to the one that is being loaded, the above error will occur.

Resolution:

1. Go to MWF;5;2 and apply all outstanding PTF maintenance. If there are any problems applying the PTFs, contact CA MICS Technical Support.

2. Rerun the ESDyymmL job from the beginning.

Additional Information:

If the messages are for products that you no longer use, refer to technology document TEC505939 for instruction on how to exclude the product from the PSP Refresh job.
