Issue/Introduction

Quota problem:  Set quota according to request client IP but quota assertion is not correctly calculate the number of requests on all nodes.

Environment

Gateway 11.x

Cause

Scalability slide was set all the way to scalability

 

Resolution

To get the expected outcome the slider needed to be moved to Consistency

Scalability

Set the slider to your preferred mix of consistency versus scalability:

Move the slider to Consistency to have the Gateway enforce the quota restrictions, without exception.
