Issue/Introduction

The navigation on the 16.2.2 Modern UX timesheet is difficult as cells will not edit, sometimes you need to click twice or hit enter to be able to open the lookups such as Charge Code or Input Type Code. The Editing on the timesheet becomes inconsistent or it takes a while to open the Charge code/input type code lookups or other lookups. The number fields work as expected

This occurs if the below feature is enabled via MUX Administration --> Feature Toggle :
Timesheet Improvements to the Time Period Carousel, Hyperlinking, Search and Notes & Timesheet Accessibility Improvements

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Login to a 16.2.2 Clarity
2. Go to MUX timesheets
3. Take a user with several assignments
4. Add assigned to tasks to the timesheet
5. On the time entry lines, click on any entry Charge Code field or single time cells

Expected Results: The cell is editable as soon as you click on the cell
Actual results: Cells are editable at times. Often the cell will not be editable preventing it from entering time

Environment

Clarity 16.2.2

Cause

DE80910

Resolution

DE80910 is fixed in 16.2.3 and 16.2.2 patch 1

Workaround:

Disable the feature: Timesheet Improvements to the Time Period Carousel, Hyperlinking, Search and Notes & Timesheet Accessibility Improvements. This is a new default feature added in 16.2.2 release, so there will not be a change compared to prior releases behavior.

In Clarity UI:

  1. Go to Modern UX > Administration > Feature Toggles
  2. Disable the feature Timesheet Improvements to the Time Period Carousel, Hyperlinking, Search and Notes & Timesheet Accessibility Improvements

OR

on the Clarity App server:

  1. Run the command on the backend (Clarity server):
    admin toggle-feature F31393_F31985_TIMESHEET_IMPROVEMENTS 0

Additional Information

Note: Broadcom SaaS will have this feature disabled by default and customer can enable the same however Broadcom recommends to keep it disabled until DE80910 is fixed
