Log details not present in relevant tables

Issue/Introduction

Relevant scenario is as below:

• Tomcat Analyze job is scheduled to execute every day
• No errors are noticeable in job logs
• But data is not inserted into log_details and other relevant tables:
  • Sometimes for an entire date
  • Other times even when data is available for a date, data from all the nodes is not present

Cause

Multicast network issue.

Resolution

• Multicast traffic must be enabled between various nodes running the application web servers
• There are various tests to determine whether multicast traffic is being blocked.
