When performing Inventory Sync in Aria Suite LCM, The request fails during "Aria Operations for logs" adapter configuration with Error Code: LCMVROPSYSTEM25128

Issue/Introduction

The inventory sync completes but the subsequent request to configure the Aria Operation for logs management pack instance fails with below error:

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.16.x and later

Cause

This issue occurs when the Aria Operations for Logs adapter instance is configured using the Master node's FQDN or IP, while Aria Suite LCM attempts to validate the adapter using the Load Balancer IP address.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, Kindly update the Load Balancer FQDN/IP address in 'Aria Operations for Logs adapter instance' by following the steps below:

Procedure:

1. From the left menu, select Data Sources > Integrations.
2. From the Accounts tab in the Integrations page, click Add Account and then select the VMware VMware Aria Operations for Logs card. You can also activate the management pack from the Repository tab, where you will find the card in the Available Integrations section. After the management pack is activated, click Add Account.
3. In the VMware Aria Operations for Logs page, add details to the following properties:
   • Look for "Operations for Logs server"
     •  Enter the IP address or FQDN in the Log Insight server text box of the VMware Aria Operations for Logs you have installed and want to integrate with.
