Mails not getting delivered when gel:email is used

Issue/Introduction
When gel:email element is used in a Gel Script, to send email notifications, they do not get delivered.
Environment
Version: 16.2.1.
Resolution
No problems in the application noted. Check the Junk Emails folder of the Email Address to which emails are being sent.
