Issue/Introduction
API Gateway has PRODUCTION, NON-PRODUCTION, and STANDARD licenses, If the customer performs an operation that is not permitted by the license, will the operation not be possible or will an error message be displayed?
Resolution
The licenses do not actually enforce restrictions based on production/non-production. But the customer should abide by the contract and not use non-production license in a production environment. Not doing so could have legal consequences.
