The SCRT is a program/utility, IBM normally provides it but 21CW might have their own version of it.
For Broadcom customers running VSE.
Customers must use the IBM's version of the SCRT which can be found here. At this time the latest version of IBM's SCRT is 30.
They should generate the ISV version of the SCRT report. Most customers run the SCRT on z/OS but if that is a problem for the customer they can run the SCRT on either Windows or Linux.
The SCRT requires SCRT89 records from each VSE LPAR, the instructions on creating and collecting those records are detailed in IBM's SCRT User Guide.
The SCRT generates different types of reports depending on the input and what SCRT control statements the customer uses.
A SCRT report generated with the Broadcom Product Catalog XML file is referred to as a Broadcom SCRT report or an ISV SCRT Report.
If the Broadcom Product Catalog XML file isn't used, then the report is referred to as an IBM SCRT report.
Broadcom's SCRT Report Management website only accepts Broadcom SCRT reports, IBM reports will be rejected.
