Issue/Introduction

This article outlines the workarounds for reverting a cluster from vLCM (vSphere Lifecycle Manager) image based management back to VUM (VMware Update Manager) baseline management.

Resolution

To revert from vLCM image management back to VUM baseline management, follow these steps:

  1. Create a new cluster that is managed by VUM baselines.

  2. Move the existing host(s) into the newly created cluster.
