NetBIOS dependency in Control Compliance Suite

Issue/Introduction

There is a dependency in CCS on NetBIOS for Windows. Hostnames should not exceed 15 characters, otherwise the name will be truncated to 15 characters.

Resolution

If there are multiple hosts that exceed the 15 characters and the first 15 characters are the same, all will be overwritten and only the last one registered will show up.

Either limit the character length to 15 characters or make sure the first 15 characters are unique.

NOTE: Make sure to add in the truncated version of the hostname to the local hosts file.
