1) We are moving from CA APM 10.7 to 10.8
2) Does the 10.8 release has a 10.8 JavaAgent?
2) Trying to download the 10.8 JavaAgent (we use to monitor WebSphere) I could only find CA-APM-Agent-for-IBM-Websphere-Application-Server-r2022.3.0.zip. Is this the correct Agent to download to monitor WebSphere Application Server? comparable to the 10.7 Java Agent.
3) What is the location of the documentation for the 10.8 JavaAgent? (release 2022.3)
4) Expanding the agent files, I could not find extensions we used in 10.7 such as Leakhunter. Is Leakhunter included in some other downloads?
Is it possible to use the 10.7 Agent with 10.8 Enterprise Manager?
1. The 10.8 release has all the same agents as the 10.7, Java, .NET, etc...
2. The default Java Agent is now known as the APM Infrastructure Agent, also known as APMIA
3. For websphere, you want to use the CA-APM-Agent-for-IBM-Websphere-Application-Server as you will get more WebSphere metrics than the default Java Agent would give you. This zip file contains the Agent for both Linux and Windows
Also make sure to choose the SP1 version of any agent you download, so you have the latest version (right now SP1 is the latest version).
4. The documentation for the 10.8 Agents is the same for SaaS and 2x.x On Premise. Here is the link. The code base for the Agents are the same between the 3 versions.

5. LeakHunter is now baked into the Agent, no additional files to add.
Configure LeakHunter Properties
6. You can connect a 10.7 Agent to a 10.8 EM, however please be aware that this is out of support since 10.7 (all SP levels) are End Of Service. So if you have an issue with the 10.7 Agent, then you must upgrade as we cannot support a End Of Service Agent.
