Issue/Introduction

This article provides a procedure to update the NSX-T table details in the SDDC manager database in order to fix a naming inconsistency in the NSX manager nodes.

  • Precheck is failing on the NSX cluster configuration precheck
  • NSX manager nodes are properly deployed
  • The SDDC manager contains an incorrect NSX manager node name in the database that does not exist
    • For example, in a 3-node deployment with the names nsx1.domain.com, nsx2.domain.com, and nsx3.domain.com, the respective table incorrectly shows nsx4.domain.com, nsx2.domain.com, and nsx3.domain.com instead.
