Resolution
Follow these steps to download the VMware Remote Console (VMRC) installer:
- Go to the VMware vSphere download page, and select a product such as "VMware vSphere - Enterprise".
Note: If prompted, log in to the Broadcom support portal. - Select a release. Or, go directly to the VMware vSphere 8.0 download page.
- Click the Drivers & Tools tab.
- Search for "remote console".
- Expand the list for the required version of VMware Remote Console.
- Choose the appropriate build for Windows or Linux.
- Click the download icon.
Additional Information
The download link is also available through the vSphere Client.
- In the vSphere Client, navigate to a virtual machine in the inventory.
- Click the Summary tab.
- Next to "LAUNCH REMOTE CONSOLE", click the information icon.
- Click the Download Remote Console link.
