We have noticed in Red Hat Linux that we have had several SpectroSERVER crashes when fapolicyd was enabled in our Red Hat Linux 8 environment.
NetOps Spectrum 22.2.x / 23.3.x
Red Hat Linux 8 with fapolicyd enabled
fapolicyd appears to be a culprit that causes the SpectroSERVER to crash without a core file
At this time we would strongly recommend not enabling fapolicyd on the SpectroSERVER server if you are experiencing unknown crashes.
If necessary, please make sure that the entire $SPECROOT folder is properly excluded.
Our QA team is currently evaluating fapolicyd and we will update once we have more information.
