UVMS upgrade fails: Unable to upgrade security 6.8.01 for system user

Issue/Introduction

Upgrading Univiewer Management Server from v6.7 to 7.x fails when when the installation is not done under an Administrator account.  The pop-up error message is shown below .

 

Error during installation:
Error message = "Unable to upgrade security 6.8.01 for system user"

Environment

Product: CA Automic Dollar Universe, Univiewer Management Server

Operating System: Windows Server

Cause

The univiewer_server.exe was not executed under an Administrator account.

Resolution

Right-click on univiewer_server.exe-> click on Run as Administrator.
