Issue/Introduction

Question:

We have been planned a DS8884/ DS8886 DASD migration on our systems late this January. We would like to know the level of maintenance and fixes applicable to support the DASD migration for the following products.

 

Environment:

Z/OS, CA-DATACOM - current version R14

 

Answer:

CA Datacom/DB is not hardware dependent, there is no special consideration.
