Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

After a new install of CSM, the startup of the TOMCAT server STC fails with RC=01 and these messages:

JVMJZBL1006I TZ = GMT0BST,M3.4.0/1,M10.5.0/2

JVMJZBL1006I PWD =

JVMJZBL2999W Could not set current directory to:

atoe_getcwd error: EDC5134I Function not implemented.

Environment:

A newly installed release of CA Chorus Software Manager

Cause:

Missing OMVS segment requirements for the userid running the MSMTC STC.

Resolution:

  • Verify that the security requirements for the userid assigned to the MSMTC STC are met.
  • Ensure that the MSMTC userid has an OMVS SEGMENT and a valid home directory with RDWR access.
    • Confirm that the directory exists, is mounted, and accessible by MSMTC.
    • An empty PWD = statement indicate a missing OMVS Home directory for the MSMTC userid.

Additional Information:

Other security requirements are documented here in the CA Chorus Software Manager r6.0/6.1 Documentation wiki.

Environment

Release: MSMNGR00200-5.1-Chorus Software Manager
