Issue/Introduction

Question:

When we run the Load Data Warehouse job in immediate mode, it is successful; why does it fail occasionally when it is run as a scheduled job?

Answer:

The Investment Allocation job and Time Slice job should be set as incompatible with the Load Data Warehouse job.

To set these jobs as incompatible:

  1. Go to Administration, Data Administration, Reports and Jobs
  2. Click the link for the Load Data Warehouse job
  3. Click the Incompatible Jobs tab
  4. Click "Add" button and place checkmarks in the check boxes for "Investment Allocation" and "Time Slicing"

If the jobs are already set as incompatible, please contact PPM Support and provide a copy of the bg-dwh.log file for further investigation.
