During uninstallation, a message appears requesting access to the database, with a few options. Clicking next results in an error: 'Unable to connect to the SEE database using the connection parameters provided.' with various exception messages.
If the SQL server is inaccessible or no longer exists, uninstallation is not possible.
Make sure to uninstall SEE first, as the database can be removed during uninstallation even if on a remote SQL server.
If the SQL server or database has already been removed, you will need to restore a backup of the SEEMSdb to a SQL server temporarily and proceed with uninstalling the SEE Server Suite, directing to the location of the restored backup when prompted.
Another option is to upgrade the server to any newer version, and create a new database during install, then uninstall immediately after.
