In some situations when configuring a new SSO domain, removing the old domain will be desired. This may result in the old domain being removed from the SSO config page, and then after some time it reappears.
To workaround this issue, CloudHealth Support can manually remove the domain by completing the following steps:
1. Capture all the information from the SSO config page and put into a text file. (SSO Provider, domain, sign in endpoint, signing certificate, and default organization). It is also useful take a screenshot of this page as you can use later on.
2. Once all of this information is saved elsewhere, SSO configuration will be removed. This will completely wipe the SSO configuration which is why it is critical that all the relevant information is captured prior to un-configuring SSO.
3. Reconfigure SSO using the information you saved in step 1. Only the new domain will be added the old domain information will not be restored.
4. Once the SSO configuration is complete, the SSO domain will be manually claimed by Technical Support using an internal "Create SSO Domains" tool. The screenshot saved in step 1 will serve as the proof of ownership since it was previously claimed for the tenant.
This should result in the old domain no longer appearing.
