Issue/Introduction

Issue:

Every time we start ENF on our system, we get warning messages, and CCITCP will not start:

01.29.06 STC09133 $HASP373 CAIENF STARTED

01.29.06 STC09133  CAS9075I - Service(CA-ENF/BASE ) Vers(1400) Genlvl(E100AW100)

01.29.06 STC09133  CAS9075I - Service(CA-CCI/BASE ) Vers(1400) Genlvl(E100AW400)

01.29.13 STC09133  CAS9214I - CA-ENF Command: PROTOCOL(TCPIP)

CAS9604W - CAICCI PROTOCOL - SYSID not previously defined

Environment:

Applies to all supported ZOS supported environments using  CA COMMON SERVICES (ENF)

Cause:

PROTOCOL(TCPIP) was coded in the enfparm dd, instead of the already existing CCIPARM member .

Resolution:

By adding protocol(tcpip) to the existing cciparm member, proper startup messages are received in ENF. In addition, ENF properly starts CCITCP:

CAS9075I - Service(CA-ENF/BASE ) Vers(1400) Genlvl(E100AW100)

CAS9075I - Service(CA-CCI/BASE ) Vers(1400) Genlvl(E100AW400)

CAS9214I - CA-ENF Command: PROTOCOL(TCPIP)

CAS9603I - CAICCI PROTOCOL has been Created

CAS9240I - PROTOCOL - Command complete

CAS9626I - CAICCI Subsystem is operational

S CCITCP
