Issue/Introduction

Question:

I have inherited a CA MICS complex and there is no documentation of changes made to the cccGENIN members in sharedprefix.GENLIB.  How can I identify the changes that have been made?

Environment:

All supported releases of CA MICS.

Answer:

1.    1. A copy of the delivered version of the cccGENIN member is stored in sharedprefix.HOLD.PARMS.  (ccc is the component name, i.e. CIC, RMF, etc.) You can use the ISPF compare utility to compare this member to the one that is in sharedprefix.GENLIB.

2.    2. For a more detailed report on user modifications, execute the MWF CA MICS administrator Utility – Database Modification Report (MWF;5;4;4).
