Getting error "unable_to_send_request_to_TDMModelService" when exporting Project from TDM Portal

Issue/Introduction

Have an error when doing an export of a project in TDM Portal:

Error:  "unable_to_send_request_to_TDMModelService"

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to Configuration/Configuration Deployment
2. Click Export
3. Select Project, click Next
4. Select Version, click Finish

Environment

All supported TDM releases.

Cause

There was missing information for the jobs in the Repository - they exist in gtrep_datadisc_job table but are missing in gtrep_job_information table.

Noticed that cleanup of old jobs (in application.properties file) and assumes that it's responsible for this. 

Resolution

Re-scanning the model enable the export to occur with no issues.

 

NOTE: Check the settings for job cleanup - if the job is cleaned after 2 days then the Project will be exportable only for these 2 days after scanning model. If the job is cleaned after 6 months then it'll be exportable for 6 months since the scan. By default old jobs are not cleaned so the projects can be exported "forever". It's per project specific so it can happen that some Project is exportable (if the scan happened recently) while others not (if the scan happened long time ago and the job information was already cleaned from the repository).
