Failed to create the tablespace errorlevel=1119 When installing Service Desk Manager

Issue/Introduction

When trying to install CA SDM on a new server, the following error appears:

Failed to create the <tablespace name> tablespace (errorlevel=1119)

Pre-process failed (errorlevel=150)

Setupmdb exit /B return code=110

casm\mdb\install_<Instance Name>.log shows the following:

ORA-15018: diskgroup cannot be created
ORA-15001: diskgroup "<diskgroup name>" does not exist or is not mounted

Oracle Database

Service Management 17.x

Cause

Diskgroup name has been changed by the dba

Resolution

1. Engage the DBA to determine the correct disk group name 

2. Re-run the installer and set the correct Diskgroup name in the Tablespace Path field during the Database configuration of the installer. 

ie: +DISKGROUPMDBDATA
