Manage Access Control List (ACL) greyed out on DX UIM 23.4.*

Issue/Introduction

After Upgrading to DX UIM 23.4 / 23.4.1 the Manage Access Control List (ACL) in Infrastructure Manager (IM) even using the administrator account as well as the options for User Administration and Set Login Expiration Time:

Environment

DX UIM 23.4.*

 

Cause

This issue happens when running DX UIM 23.4.* with older versions of Infrastructure Manager (<20.4.5)

There are a few security enhancements and vulnerabilities that were fixed that made some internal callback encrypted, so this is why some things won't work unless you upgrade IM. 

Resolution

Ensure you are running an updated version of IM.   You can go to Help->About Infrastructure Manager.

For DX UIM 20.4.5 and later, the version of IM should match the version of DX UIM.  

So for DX UIM 20.4.5 the version of IM will say 20.4.5;   for DX UIM 23.4.3 the version will say 23.4.3.

Prior to this you may see versions 4.10 or 4.05 which are now obsolete.
